     Microcurrent is also known as a wave therapy treatment. It delivers a low-level electrical current into the facial muscles to stimulate the motor nerves to form a contraction to gently pull, stretch, and release. This non-invasive procedure mimics the body’s own natural wave lengths and how the brain sends messages to the muscles. Through a series of treatments, microcurrent has the ability to restore elasticity, increase metabolism, reduce inflammation, and speed up the regenerative process in the body. It is considered a passive form of exercise that will reeducate the muscles to lift and tone them. Studies have shown that microcurrent stimulates adenosine (ATP), which is the biocatalyst for all cellular processes, such as DNA replication, muscle movement, neotransmition, and oxygenation and reparation.
